SELINSGROVE, Pa. - For the second-consecutive week, junior
Sumer Rohrs (Frostburg, Md./Forest) powered the Frostburg State track & field teams at Susquehanna University. This weekend, she turned in three victories at the Susquehanna Open.

Last Saturday, Rohrs and fellow junior
Brian Leiter (New Windsor, Md./Francis Scott Key) had record setting performances at the Susquehanna Invitational.
In her three wins on Saturday, Rohrs qualified for the ECAC Championships in all three including a provisional and automatic spot in the NCAA Championships.
In her first event, the 55-meter hurdles, she ran an 8.16 for both an ECAC and automatic NCAA Championship spot. In the 55-meter dash, she qualified for ECAC's and ran a NCAA provisional time of 7.28. In her third and final event, she landed ECAC's in the 200-meter dash (26.19).
Senior
Jess Clingan (Williamsport, Md./Williamsport) also quailified for the ECAC Championships in all three of the events she entered. She won the 400-meter dash (59.96), was third in the 200-meter dash (26.78) and fourth in the 55-meter hurdles (8.61).
Freshman
Emily Furr (Damascus, Md./Poolesville) guided the Bobcats in the field events. She was sixth in the triple jump (10.42 meters), eighth in the high jump (1.52 meters) and 19th in the long jump (4.72 meters).
Junior
Jennifer Patton (Barton, Md./Westmar) was eighth in the one-mile run (5:32.53) and sophomore
Gwen Massey (Thorofare, N.J./West Deptford) was 10th in the 800-meter run (2:24.26).
Leiter again led the men's team. He was runner-up in the one-mile run with an ECAC and NCAA provisional time of 4:14.65.
Junior
Arien Heggs (Arlington, Va./Wakefield) was 17th in the 200-meter dash (24.00) and eighth in the preliminaries in the 55-meter dash (6.68).
Sophomore
Dan Bloch (Baltimore, Md./Dundalk) was 19th in the long jump with a distance of 5.81 meters.
The Bobcats return to action on Saturday, February 23 when they travel the Mason-Dixon Conference Championships in Newport News, Va.
