BUFFALO, N.Y. - The Frostburg State men's soccer team fell to top-seed Medaille, 3-0, in the semifinals of the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference Tournament, Wednesday afternoon.
The Bobcats (10-8-1) were outshot by the Mavericks (16-1-2) 21-8. Kendell McFayden scored two of the three goals and had an assist for MC in the win.
The game started off as a stalemate until Eric Schnirel scored the first goal of the game off an assist from McFayden at 31:10, giving Medaille a 1-0 lead going into the second half.
In the 56th minute of the game, McFayden scored an unassisted goal and at 85:22 he scored his second goal off an assist from Michel Mendez, sealing the victory for the Mavericks.

Jay Herford (Crofton, Md./South River) made eight saves while MC goalkeeper J.J. Bilinski made four.
FSU now awaits for a possible bid to the Eastern College Athletic Conference Tournament.
