FROSTBURG, Md. - Frostburg State men's soccer was defeated by Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference opponent Penn State Behrend on Saturday afternoon, 4-0.
Frostburg State (6-7-1, 2-3-1) came out slow while on the road to host Penn State Behrend. Behrend opened the scoring when Jerry Tortella scored in the 9th minute of the first half on an assist from Eric Murillo. Tortella added another goal after he scored in the 29th minute with an assist from Ahmad Salim. Salim led the game with total points by adding two goals of his own in the 14th minute and in the 55th minute.

Adam Gracia (Rockville, Md./Thomas Wootton) led the Bobcats with 2 shots on goals. Despite the loss, the Bobcats were only outshot by the Lions 10 to 13.
The Bobcats return home Wednesday, October 17th at Bobcat Stadium against Mt. Aloysius at 7:00 pm.
