WAYNESBURG, PA — The Frostburg State volleyball team dropped two matches on the opening day of the Waynesburg Invitational, Friday evening.

In the first match, the Bobcats (5-11) lost to Hiram 3-0 by the scores of 30-16, 30-20, and 30-26.

In the second match, Waynesburg defeated Frostburg State 3-1. FSU lost game one 37-35 and game two 30-14. The Bobcats rebounded to take game three, 33-31 but narrowly lost game four 30-28.

Frostburg State returns to action tomorrow for the second round of the Waynesburg Tournament.
