TOWSON, MD— The Frostburg State women’s tennis team lost to Goucher 9-0 Tuesday afternoon.

Sophomore Jenn Tolbert (Hagerstown, Md./North Hagerstown) turned in the best performance, falling to Sarah Ballou by a narrow 7-5, 6-3 score at No. 1 singles.

In doubles action, FSU struggled with the tandem of sophomore Kimberly Hardy (Centreville, Md./Queen Anne's) and freshman Alex Buchanan (Stockton, Md./Pocomoke) picking up the only game win in an 8-1 loss at the third flight.

The Bobcats return to action Thursday, September 22 when they travel to Bethany (W.Va.) at 4:00 pm.
