Shepherdstown, W.Va. — The Frostburg State men’s tennis team fell to Division II Shepherd 9-0 in a non-conference match Tuesday afternoon.
The Bobcats dropped to 1-10 on the season, while the Rams improved to 13-1 with their eleventh straight victory.
Senior Andrew Spangenberg (Frederick, Md./Frederick) and freshman John Thrasher (Cumberland, Md./Fort Hill) gave FSU its best chance in doubles action, losing 8-3 to David Seifarth and Wray Sherman.
Thrasher also provided the Bobcats with their best chance in singles action losing to Sherman 6-2, 6-3.
FSU returns to action tomorrow when it travels to Shenandoah at 4:00 pm.
