Carlisle, PA— Dickinson junior forward Sarah Newton scored approximately five minutes into the second half off an assist from senior Emily Souder to give the Red Devils a 1-0 victory over Frostburg State Saturday afternoon.

Bobcat junior goalie Kristin Cousin (Edgewater, Md./South River) had a strong performance with 20 saves.

Junior Tawni Buck (Port Deposit, Md./Perryville) and Brittany Russell (Washington, N.J./Warren Hills) each had a defensive save for FSU.

Dickinson outshot Frostburg State 29-7 and and held a 15-9 advantage in penalty corners.

The Bobcats jump back into action as they host Roanoke College Sunday afternoon at 1:00 pm.
