YORK, PA — Senior Brooke Wilson scored a goal and added an assist as host York College beat Frostburg State, 2-0, in field hockey action Tuesday afternoon.

The Spartans (9-6) jumped on the board early as senior Becky McCall scored just three minutes into the game on an assist from Wilson. Wilson then scored unassisted four minutes into the second half to end the scoring.

FSU (8-11) junior goalie Kristin Cousin (South River/Edgewater, Md.) made 11 saves on the day.

Frostburg State returns to action on Friday for its final game of the season as it hosts Houghton College at 3:00 p.m.
