Sophomore Samantha Mulvey takes home her second FSU Female Athlete of the Week honor in the last three weeks after a pair of stellar efforts against Bethany and York last week. She totaled four wins and two second-place finishes and combined with teammates for a victory in the 200-meter freestyle relay.
She opened the week with wins in the 50-meter freestyle (30.08) and the 100-meter freestyle (1:06.31) as FSU lost to Bethany. She also captured second in the 400-meter freestyle (5:24.46).
In the second meet, a loss to York (Pa.), she won the 50-meter freestyle (30.05) and finished runner-up in the 100-meter freestyle (1:06.44).
Mulvey capped the week by helping teammates to a win in the 200-meter freestyle relay (2:09.88).
