Doug Politz has been awarded the FSU Male Athlete of the Week honor for his key role in FSU's 7-0 shutout over No. 9 ranked Salisbury.

He tossed a complete-game shutout (7.0 inns) as the Bobcats upset the top-10 ranked Sea Gulls at SU Baseball Field. Poltiz struckout eight and allowed just two hits for his second victory of the season.
