DANBURY, Conn. – Frostburg State's Hassan Mostafa has garnered Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Second Team All-Star honors, as announced by the league Tuesday.

The sophomore emerged as one of the nation's top goaltenders this fall and he's starting to collect quite the resume of postseason awards.

The Columbia, Md. native finished second in the nation in save percentage (.905) and eighth in goals against average (.476) after registering nine shutouts in 18 games. He made 86 saves and allowed just nine goals, while leading the Bobcats to the CAC Tournament. He had a run of six-consecutive shutouts in September and allowed more than one goal in just one contest all season.
 
Late last week, Mostafa was named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) All-South Region Third Team while collecting All-Capital Athletic Conference First Team honors.
 
Frostburg State finished the season 10-6-3 overall and 5-3-1 in the CAC.
