Josiah Herrera begins his first season with the Strength & Conditioning staff for the 2025-26 season.
Herrera comes to FSU having most recently been a strength and conditioning coach at the Holistic Health and Fitness Program with the U.S. Army. Prior to that, he spent time at St. Andrews University as an instructor of sport performance, health, and fitness. He has spent time at multiple levels of NCAA institutions, including Methodist University, Salisbury University, George Washington University, the University of Maryland, and the University of Richmond.
Herrera earned his Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science and Health and Physcial Education from Norfolk State University in 2019 before going on to earn his Master's Degree in Health and Human Performance at Salisbury in 2023.
