Breonnah Neal

Neal enters her second season as Head Coach of the Women's Wrestling program at Frostburg State for the 2024-25 year. 

In her first season, Neal started the program with two individual wins for a 2-10 record, as the team competed in four opens as well.  Six Bobcats earned at least one victory on the season, their first in a FSU uniform, while four picked up six wins or more throughout the year.  Jada Fowler, Lillie Costilla, and Aurora Walters represented Frostburg at the National Women's Wrestling Regional Tournament, where Costilla and Fowler took third and fourth place to move on to the National Tournament in Iowa.

Neal comes to Frostburg after two successful years at Gannon University, where the Golden Knights finished the season 10th overall as a team at the NCWWC National Championship. In just two seasons, Neal coached 17 national qualifiers, 8 All-Americans and 16 Scholar All-Americans. 

Before taking over at Gannon, Neal made her first stop as a head coach at Ferrum College. Under her direction, the Panthers had their first female wrestler named an All-American. 

Neal earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from King University while minoring in Health Education. At King, she was a standout on and off the mat, helping the Tornado to become Women's College Wrestling Association (WCWA) 2017 National ChampionsNeal was a four-time WCWA All-American and two-time University All-AmericanIn 2015, she finished third in the US Open, while also qualifying for the world team trials on three occasions, and in 2016 was a qualifier for the Olympic team trials.
