Frostburg State University Athletics

Gabbi Maher joined the Frostburg State Cross Country and Men & Women’s Track and Field coaching staff as a Graduate Assistant in August 2022. Maher received her Bachelors in Exercise & Sport Science from FSU in Fall 2015. 

During her undergraduate career she competed for the Bobcats in Cross Country and Track. As part of the track team, she posted lifetime bests in the 1500m (5:14.92) and 5000m (20:46.29). She also competed for Frostburg in the 800m, 3000m, Distance Medley Relay (DMR) and 4x400m Relay. In her time with Bobcat Cross Country, she posted a best 17:27 4K and 24:09.7 6K.

Prior to returning to her alma mater Maher coached for three cross country seasons at Frederick High School (Frederick, MD) from 2016-2018 as well as two outdoor track seasons with the Cadets and a third with Walkersville High School (Walkersville, MD).  

She is pursuing a Master of Science in Sport Management.
