Destiny Logan

Destiny Logan has joined the Frostburg track & field teams as an assistant coach for her first season in 2018-19 after a standout four-year running career for the Bobcats from 2014-2018.
 
Logan was a five-time All-Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) honoree and two-time record holder in the relay events.
 
As a senior, Logan posted nine top-10 finishes combining both her indoor and outdoor seasons. During the indoor season, she posted two wins in the 400-meter dash, qualified for the ECAC Championships four times and captured top-five finishes in the 200 and 400-meter dashes at the ECAC Championships.
 
As a member of the 4x400-meter relay team, Logan collected four wins, including CAC and ECAC Championship titles with a Frostburg record 3:56.43 at the ECACs.
 
During her final outdoor season, she earned four top-five individual finishes and was part of one of the nation’s top relay units. In the 4x100-meter relay, Logan helped the team to three wins, including CAC and ECAC Championships titles and the CAC Championship meet record in the 4x100. In the 4x400, the team collected two more wins, a runner-up showing at the CAC Championships and another ECAC Championship title.
 
Over the past four years, Logan has served as a camp leader for the Baltimore City Recreation & Parks program. She was responsible for planning, leading and implementing core and non-core programs and experiences for children.
 
Logan graduated from Frostburg in May 2018 with her bachelor’s degree in sociology. She is currently pursuing her master’s in education with a concentration in sports management.
