Laura Dougall begins her first year on the FSU staff as the program’s goalkeeper coach. She was an outstanding four-year starting goalkeeper for the University at Buffalo women’s soccer team. While playing at UB in the Mid-American Conference, she was named Freshmen of the Year and was an All-Conference selection. She currently holds several UB goalkeeping records including: single season wins (16), shutouts (13), minutes played (1985), and career shutouts (33), goals against average (0.83) and wins (39). Dougall also holds the Mid-American Conference record for career minutes played at 7,402. In 2014, she was named to the NSCAA All-Region Team.
From Toronto, Canada, Laura had an outstanding prep career at Dunbarton High School. She’s worked at multiple summer camps and has conducted club and private keeper training in the Toronto area. She graduated with Honors earning a double major in psychology and social science interdisciplinary studies with a concentration in cognitive science and a minor in nutrition. She is now pursuing her master’s of science in counseling psychology at FSU.
