    Women's Basketball Graduate Assistant
Olivia Callan enters her second season as a graduate assistant with the Frostburg women’s basketball team in 2018-19.
 
In her first season with the Bobcats, Callan helped lead Frostburg to a Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) Tournament appearance and FSU’s first Jim Crawley Tournament championship in a decade.
 
Junior guard Victoria Diggs led the CAC in scoring and was awarded First Team All-CAC Honors. The Bobcats led the conference in free-throw shooting (70.3%) and were second in three-point shooting at 32.0%.
 
Callan comes to Frostburg after a four-year playing career at Shenandoah University from 2013-17. She was a two-year starter for the Hornets and appeared in 90 games, while averaging over 5.0 points per game. She was also voted team captain for both her junior and senior seasons.
 
She earned her bachelor’s degree in exercise science with a minor in business from SU this past May.
 
Last March, Callan participated in the “So You Want To Be A Coach” program through the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) in Dallas, Texas.
 
For the last three years, Callan has served as the Director of Sports Camps at Howard County Parks and Recreation, while last spring, she served as an intern in the Shenandoah strength and conditioning program.
