Cassandra Show enters her second year as a graduate assistant with the Frostburg State University softball team in 2015-16.
Last season, Show helped lead Frostburg to a spot in the CAC Tournament behind a 24-12 overall record. FSU came within one game of the tournament championship contest and upset #7 Salisbury, 4-0, in the second game of the tournament. Frostburg earned three All-CAC selections.
Show was a four-year letter winner for the Robert Morris University softball team from 2011-14, helping the Colonials to 115 wins and three Northeast Conference Tournament appearances. She was a two-time team captain and was named a National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) All-American Scholar-Athlete in each of her final three years.
RMU’s career record holder in both games played and assists, Show was a two-time Dean’s List student and was twice named to the Northeast Conference Academic Honor Roll. She was a three-year member of the Colonial Leadership Academy at Robert Morris.
Show graduated with her bachelor’s degree in general psychology from RMU in May ’14.
