DeMarcus Stid was recently added to the Frostburg track & field coaching staff and he will coach the program’s throwers.
Stid inherits a talented group of throwers that are among the top performers in the Mountain East Conference. On the men’s side, the Bobcats have three throwers ranked in the top-10 in the shot put and have the top two ranked weight throwers in the league.
Stid comes to Frostburg after coaching the throwers at Northside High School (Fort Wayne, Ind.) for the last two years. He also worked at Iron Society (formally MaxFitness) during that time.
From 2015-2018, Stid was a fitness center attendant at the Indiana Tech Wellness Center in Fort Wayne. While there, he assisted with lifts and maintained the weight room.
Stid is a graduate of Indiana Institute of Technology (2019).
