Prior to Frostburg: Lettered in Swim, Tennis and Track & Field at Prince George High School... Two-time VHSL Swimming State Qualifier...  Swam for NOVA South Swim Team and Wood Dale Swim Team since he was 5 years old... Was an assistant coach for the Wood Dale Swim Team... Member of National Beta Honor Society.

Personal: Son of Brett and Del Hays... Majoring in Biology.
