Daniel O’Rourke enters his first year as a graduate assistant coach for both the men’s and women’s soccer teams at Frostburg State University in the fall of 2014. He will primarily work with the goalkeepers on both squads.
O’Rourke joins the Bobcat staffs after a successful playing career at Keystone College. He was team captain, Second Team All-Conference and an All-Academic honoree as a freshman. In his sophomore year, he was awarded Defensive MVP while starting every game since his debut at Keystone.
Prior to Keystone, O’Rourke was as a member of several soccer teams including Dundrum AFC, St. Joseph’s Boys AFC and Arklow Town AFC.
He also brrought coaching experience to the Bobcats as he served as an assistant goalkeeping coach to the UCD Ladies’ Soccer Team.
O’Rourke graduated from Keystone College with a bachelor’s degree in sport and recreation management.
