    Assistant Football Coach - Video Coordinator - Defensive Tackles
Pete Hansen enters his third year as an assistant football coach with Frostburg State in 2016. He will work with the defensive tackles this fall after working with the defensive ends for the previous two seasons.
 
A year ago, the Bobcats finished fourth in their first year in the NJAC with 21 sacks (147 yds.) and FSU also totaled 72 tackles for loss (288 yds.)
 
In 2014, the Bobcats finished fifth in the Empire 8 with 24 sacks (187 yds) and third in the league in sacks per game (2.4). Frostburg finished third in the conference in tackles for loss per game (6.6) after finishing the season with 65 tackles for loss (309 yds).
 
Hansen spent the 2013 campaign as the defensive line coach at Southern Virginia. The Knights posted 35 sacks and 99 tackles for loss en route to an 8-2 overall record and a No. 1 ranking in the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) Standings.
 
Prior to coaching the Knights, Hansen was a three-year starter for the Southern Virginia football team on the defensive line from 2006-08.
 
Hansen and his wife Sarah have three children, Halyee, Kellen and Charlie.
