Pete Hansen joins the Frostburg State University coaching staff for his first season in 2014 as the defensive end coach.
Hansen spent the 2013 campaign as the defensive line coach at Southern Virginia. The Knights posted 35 sacks and 99 tackles for loss en route to an 8-2 overall record and a No. 1 ranking in the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) Standings.
Prior to coaching the Knights, Hansen was a three-year starter for the Southern Virginia football team on the defensive line from 2006-08.
Hansen and his wife Sarah have two children, Halyee and Kellen.
