Kyle Wiggins is entering his fourth season as an assistant coach for the Frostburg State football team in 2022. This fall, he will work with the Safeties after serving as a defensive assistant a two years ago.
In 2019, the Bobcats led the MEC in scoring defense (20.4), finished second in sacks (37) and fourth in interceptions (13). FSU finished sixth in total defense at 355.4 yards per contest.
Wiggins comes from Division I Monmouth where he served as the defensive quality control coach. While assisting the head coach and defensive staff, Wiggins also organized practices, game preparation, and monitoring student-athlete academic progress.
Prior to Monmouth he coached both inside and outside linebackers at William Patterson while being tasked with recruiting coordination. He helped shape the Pioneers by constructing the kickoff teams in 2018.
Wiggins finished his playing career at Kean University. He graduated with a degree in public relations in 2017.
