Drew Burnham begins his first season as the Quarterbacks Coach at Frostburg State in the 2026 season.
Burnham spent the past two years at NJCAA member Cisco College, initially serving as Wide Receivers Coach and Special Teams Coordinator before being promoted to the role of Co-Offensive Coordinator. In addition to his on-the-field duties, he also served as the Out-of-State Recruiting Coordinator for the Wranglers.
His first experience at the NJCAA level came in the fall of 2020, when he was hired at Hutchinson Community College (NJCAA) in Hutchinson, Kansas. He got to be a part of the Blue Dragons' national championship in the spring of 2021, before venturing to Nebraska to join the Peru State (NAIA) football staff as Wide Receivers Coach and Special Teams Coordinator.
Burnham began his coaching career as an undergraduate assistant at Jacksonville State (FBS) in Jacksonville, Alabama, from 2009-11. He then returned to his hometown of Rome, Georgia, to coach high school football for three seasons, from 2012-14. Bunrham spent two seasons at Model High School (2012-13) and one at Coosa High School (2014). In the summer of 2013, he completed an internship with the Baltimore Ravens of the National Football League.
He returned to the collegiate ranks in 2015, joining the staff at Murray State (FCS) in Murray, Kentucky. He held multiple different roles for the Racers from 2015-17, serving as an Offensive Graduate Assistant for two seasons, and the Director of Football Operations for one.From 2018-2020, Burnham again returned to Georgia, serving as the Tight Ends coach at Shorter University (DII).
Burnham graduated from Murray State with a B.S. in Recreational Leadership.
