Brian Belt

Brian Belt is entering his first season with the Frostburg State football program and he will serve as the tight ends coach in 2018.

Belt comes to FSU after serving as the tight ends and fullbacks coach at NCAA Division I Towson for the last year and a half. Belt also served as the quality control coach for both the offense and special teams units and assisted with the offensive line.

Last fall, Towson posted five wins and averaged over 300 yards per game on offense.

Last July, Belt coached at the Sports International Football Camp at George Mason University and he was an assistant varsity football coach at Liberty High School from 2011-17.

At Liberty, Belt served as the run game coordinator for three seasons and helped the team to 24 wins and two playoff appearances. Belt also served as both an offensive and defensive line coach at Liberty, helping a total of 14 players earn all-conference honors.

Belt is a 2010 graduate of Penn State where he earned his bachelor’s degree in economics.
