Brianna D’Angelo joined the Frostburg State acrobatics and tumbling staff for her first year as a graduate assistant in the summer of 2019 and she will help lead the program into its first year as a varsity sport in 2020-21.
D’Angelo is a former member of the nationally ranked acrobatics and tumbling team at Glenville State College. She was awarded Student Athlete of the Week for the Pioneers in three seasons during her time at Glenville State. In 2018 D’Angelo qualified and competed in four events at the NCATA National Championship. The following year she qualified and competed in two events at the 2019 NCATA National Championship as well as making 2019 NCATA honor roll.
She was selected First Team All-Conference for the Mountain East Conference Acrobatics and Tumbling Championship 2019. D’Angelo also participated on the Glenville State track team in 2016 and qualified for the MEC Conference Championship in three events.
D’Angelo served as an Intern for the Glenville State acrobatics and tumbling team in 2018.
She earned her bachelor’s degree in Athletic Conditioning and Coaching from Glenville State in 2019.
