CLINTON, Pa. – The Frostburg State Women's Cross Country team opened their 2026 season at the RMU Colonial Invitational on Friday morning, placing ninth out of eleven teams.
 
With the meet consisting of teams across all three NCAA divisions, FSU placed between Division I members St. Bonaventure and Duquesne. Junior Reilly Teague (24:44.04) led the Bobcats by placing 43^rd overall and 40^th among scoring runners , followed closely by senior Paige Etnoyer (24:52.92) in 49^th overall.
 
Rounding out the scoring runners for Frostburg were junior Keira Taylor (26:04.03), senior Hannah Schauman (26:27.03), and freshman Izabella McDonald (27:02.17), while sophomore Stefani Burns (29:08.67) closed out the meet.
 
FSU will next compete at the Hornet Harrier Invite in Shenandoah, Virginia on Saturday, September 19. Information and updates will be posted to frostburgsports.com.
