ANNAPOLIS, Md. – The Frostburg State Men's Cross Country team opened their season on Saturday morning in the Cantello Invite held by Navy, where the team placed seventh overall. 
 
Sophomore Jack Hynes had the best finish on the day for Frostburg in the 5k, running a 18:39.5 for 29^th place.  Senior Logan Folmer was next for the Bobcats in 33^rd place with a 19:23.8 time, while sophomore Nathan Hillhouse and freshman Ethan McKee brought it home for FSU with the former finishing 35^th with a time of 19:53.8 and the latter taking 36^th with a time of 20:19.7. 
 
Sophomores Jaxon Jones (27:01.2) and Gage Osborne (27:10.8) ran the 4.9 mile, capturing 43^rd and 45^th place, while sophomore Ray Gibson (28:32.9), freshman Ben Saltysiak (28:39.6), junior Brandon Stein (28:51.8), and senior Austin Comeaux (29:33.3) slotted the 60^th through 64^th spots in the event to conclude the day for Frostburg.
