NEW ORLEANS, La. – Frostburg State Men's Cross Country sophomore Gage Osborne was named USTFCCCA NCAA Division II Male National Athlete of the Week, presented by the USTFCCCA Communications Staff on Monday.
Osborne posted a season-best 26:36.9 at the Go Fast River Run this past weekend in Lock Haven, PA, finishing fourth overall and helping Frostburg take second in the meet as a team. Osborne is the first-ever Bobcat to be named USTFCCCA National Athlete of the Week during the cross country season.
FSU will next compete in the NCAA Atlantic Region Championships on Saturday, November 9 at the same course in Lock Haven.
