FROSTBURG, Md. - After making their first-ever appearance in last season's NCAA Division II Tournament, the Frostburg State Women's Soccer team again finds themselves under consideration from the NCAA Regional Rankings, announced on Wednesday.
FSU currently boasts a 13-1-1 record, including a 9-1-1 mark in Mountain East Conference play. Two other MEC teams also received recognition, as both South Division members Charleston (WV) and Concord were name among the nine teams, with each of the remaining six teams all hailing from the PSAC.
The initial regional rankings highlight teams that are currently likely to appear in the NCAA Tournament, the first set of which are listed in alphabetical order. Future rankings will include a numerical ranking in a seeded format. Each of the teams currently under consideration are listed below, with their overall and in-region records included.
