SOUTH EUCLID, Ohio – The Frostburg State Women's Swimming team completed their regular season with a tri-meet sweep of Notre Dame College (132-127) and Baldwin Wallace (165-96) on Saturday afternoon.

Junior Liz Perry had one of the top performances on the day, earning a pair of wins in the 50-yard freestyle (25.70) and the 50-yard butterfly (27.98), while also coming runner-up in the 100-yard free (56.62) by just half a second.

Also impressing was sophomore Lydia Nebiolo, who swam a season-best 1:03.52 in the 100-yard backstroke to earn a win, while also placing second in both the 500- and 1,000-yard free at 5:42.31 and 11:24.81, respectively. Finishing just behind her in the 100 back was freshman Gabriela Betancourt, who also secured a win herself in the 200-yard free (2:06.03).

Sophomore Kendall Hooper rounded out the victory column for the Bobcats in the 100-yard fly (1:02.78), while also placing third in the 100-yard free (57.01) just behind Perry.

Earning a couple of key results were junior Riley Petrick and senior Rayna Cicen coming 2-3 in the 50-yard back at 31.58 and 32.07, respectively.

With the victories, Frostburg concludes the regular season with a 7-4 record overall and their second straight undefeated MEC record at 5-0. The team now prepares for the MEC/GMAC Conference Championships from Tuesday, February 7 through Friday, February 10. Information and updates will be posted at frostburgsports.com.
