LOCK HAVEN, PA – The Frostburg State women's cross-country team ran their third invite of the season at Lock Haven in a field that included 40 teams from nine states, spanning all divisions including NCAA Division I, II, and III.
FSU took to the course for a 10 a.m. 6K, and collected a total score of 659. Frostburg State placed one runner just outside the top-50, as freshman Alana Dyce-Giraud earned 51st with a time of 22:54.00. That time is good for the fastest by a Bobcat since 2009, and the fourth fastest by a Frostburg athlete in the 2000's.
Rounding out the scoring runners, FSU saw sophomore Liz Stanley finish with a time of 24:26.20, which is a personal best for the sophomore. Also clocking personal bests on the day were junior Hannah Muir (24:49.30), sophomore Amy Tarcza (25:29.10), junior Ella Warnick (25:29.70), and freshman Olivia Beal (26:45). Sophomore Chelsea Montau (26:45) and frehsman Lacey Moyers (44:55) rounded out the group of runners for the Bobcats.
