BETHANY, WV – The Frostburg State women's cross-country team ran their second meet at the Bethany Bison Invitational, placing fifth out of the nine teams that competed in the event.
The Bobcats took to the road to Bethany to run in an early 6K. Four of FSU's scoring runners placed in the top thirty, and the team collected a total score of 95, clocking a total time of 2:10:55. The 2:10:55 run time marks the best that Bethany has had on the course to date.
Freshman Alana Dyce-Giraud topped the Bobcats with a time of (24:33.42) and finishing in third, Sophomore Elizabeth Stanley finishing not far behind in eighth with a time of 25.17.75. Sophomore Amy Tarcza (26:41.66) and junior EllaRose Warnick (27:01.38) placed three spots apart, at twenty-three and twenty-six respectively. Freshman Olivia Beal (27:33.25), sophomore Chelsea Montau (28:00.55), and freshman Claire Breighner (31:33.83) all finished in scoring positions as well for FSU.
