BETHANY, WV – The Frostburg State men's cross-country team continued their season at the Bethany Bison Invitational, placing fifth out of the nine teams to run in the event.
The Bobcats went on the road to Bethany to run in a late morning 8K. Four of FSU's scoring runners placed in the top forty and finished with a score of 123, as well as a total time of 2:20:48 which marks the best time FSU has ever had on the course at Bethany.
Junior Justus LePrevost and freshman Kaleb Berhanu finished fifth and sixth respectively. LePrevost edged out Berhanu for the fifth-place finish by just 1.4 seconds, wrapping up with a time of 26:49.38. Berhanu clocked in at 26:56.49. For LePrevost, 26:49.38 is a personal record. Samuel Metzner (28:36.08), Tristan Kruse (28:50.57), Kole Morgan (29:37.84), Brandon Stein (30:29.88), and Elijah Ennis (32:52.49) rounded out the scoring runners for Frostburg State. Â
