BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. - Frostburg State infielder Brianna Powell was tabbed as this week's MEC Softball Offensive Player of the Week as Frostburg swept both Davis & Elkins and West Virginia Wesleyan over the weekend.

The junior shortstop batted .500 (7-for-14), with a 1.429 slugging percentage by racking up two doubles, a triple and three home runs last week. She drove in 11 RBI, crossed home plate six times, and recorded a stolen base during her standout week.
