WHEELING, W. Va. – The Frostburg State Women's Cross Country team took seventh place at the MEC Championships on Saturday morning.

Freshman Alana Dyce-Giraud had the top time for the Bobcats, finishing in 21
st place in a time of 26:34.06. She was followed closely by junior Hannah Muir (27:02.77) in 26
th and sophomore Liz Stanley (27:35.18) in 27
th.

 Finishing off the scoring runners were sophomores Chelsea Montau (30:08.30) and Amy Tarcza (30:19.46) in 47
th and 48
th place, respectively. Freshmen Lacey Moyers (35:28.68) and Olivia Beal (35:53.91) got their first taste of a conference championship meet to wrap up FSU's day.

The seventh-place finish is the best-ever for the program, and just the second year that the women's team has been able to field a full scoring squad at the Division II level.
