Â
A few minutes later, FSU would earn a free kick outside the box that freshman Kevin Garcia-Torres would send over the goal. UC would add a second goal in the 39
th minute to make the game 2-0. Junior Alex Retzos had a good look at goal on his left foot that the UC keeper had to fend off to keep the game at 2-0 for the first half.Â
Â
Down two goals, the Bobcats would get a few early looks, with the Golden Eagles keeper saving all three. Frostburg came closest on a Garcia-Torres effort that crashed back off the right post that would have cut the deficit in half. The UC offense would respond well and see two more goals in a three-minute span, making the game 4-0 with 30 minutes to play.Â
Â
Freshman Renzo Vargas would have a great run up the left side of the field and send a useful cross through the box for a good look, but the Bobcats were not able to capitalize. The Golden Eagles would add a final goal on a corner headed in to make it a 5-0 final.Â
Â
The Golden Eagles would lead the Bobcats 24-8 on shots and 11-1 in corners awarded.Â
Â
With the loss, Frostburg falls to 4-8-5 on the season, with UC moving to 15-1. FSU will play their final regular season game on the road against West Virginia Wesleyan on October 26 at 1 PM. For more information please visit frostburgsports.com.  Â
