KANSAS CITY, Mo. (May 20, 2021) -- United Soccer Coaches announced on Tuesday the 2020-21 Men's and Women's Scholar All-Region Teams for NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, III, and NAIA.

To be eligible for Scholar All-Region recognition, student-athletes must meet the following criteria:

• 3.40 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) or better throughout career
• Started more than 50 percent of all games and significantly contribute to their team
• Nominated by head coach of current College Services member institution
• Junior or above in academic standing; and, if a transfer student, in second year at school

All of the Scholar All-Region Teams have been posted to the "Awards Central" section of UnitedSoccerCoaches.org. 

Juniors Abbey Dennis and Audra Curtin both added to the women's soccer awards haul this season, as both were named Scholar All-Region for the South region. Dennis earned a 3.97 GPA as an Exercise and Sport Science major, while Curtin earned a 3.72 in the Political Science program. This recognition follows both players being named 1st Team All-MEC earlier this month.
