SERIES HISTORY
-Frostburg State leads all-time series: 1-0. The last matchup between these two programs was April 10, 2021 at Bobcat Stadium when the Bobcats took the victory while shutting out the Battlers, 55-0. Redshirt freshman Graham Walker tossed for three touchdowns and  173 yards, while senior Malik Morris racked up 116 yards and a touchdown. The defense only allowed 141 total yards of offense to AB while keeping them off the score sheet.

LAST TIME OUT ON EACH SIDE
- Last time out for the Bobcats was a 49-14 victory on the road over the Fairmont State Fighting Falcons. After Fairmont State would find the end zone on the first drive of the afternoon, the Bobcats would lock in and only allow 7 more points to the Fighting Falcons for the rest of the afternoon. The Bobcat offense was run through senior Gavin Lavat, as he tied a conference and school record with a five touchdown afternoon.

Redshirt freshman Graham Walker would find his way into the end zone for a rushing touchdown as well during the afternoon, and senior Lincoln Ikwubuo would also pull in a 34-yard touchdown pass from redshirt freshman Isaiah Lester late in the contest in the midst of the large scoring afternoon. The defense would hold the Fighting Falcons to only 186 yards of total offense in the victory.

- The Battlers went into a matchup with next week's opponent for the Bobcats in West Virginia Wesleyan, looking for their first win on the season. AB would go up 14-0 in the first quarter, but WVW would swing it back to a 14-14 deadlock by halftime with a strong second quarter. Once the third quarter began, the Battlers would take over the game with four scores, one from a 76-yard fumble recovery, two touchdown passes of 47 and eight yards, and a nine yard rush. Just for comfort, the Battlers would tack on a 25-yard punt return for a score in the fourth and go on to win the matchup 49-20 after one of their highest scoring marks since 2018.
