SOUTH EUCLID, OHIO- The Frostburg State men's soccer team went on the road to face the Falcons of Notre Dame (Ohio) where they fell 4-0.
The match started out with both teams trading shots and possession. That came to an end when the first goal of the game came from NDC's Antonio Bittencourt in the 36th minute. Just a minute later, the second goal game from Filip Sparavec, making the score 2-0 at the half.
In the second half, Frostburg came out with shots from senior midfielder Daniel Juresic and sophomore defender Bryce Costello. Ultimately, the Falcons would strike again with a goal coming from Ailton Fagner Silva in the 51st minute. The final goal of the game would come from Malvin Gblah in the 56th minute, ending the game 4-0.
Senior goalkeeper Joel Assal would make three saves on 18 total Falcon shots.
With the loss, FSU falls to 6-7-1 while NDC rises to 7-3-2 on the season. Men's soccer's next opponent will be at home against Alderson Broaddus on Wednesday, October 27 at 4 PM. For more information and updates, visit
