SOUTH EUCLID, Ohio – Senior Amanda Emory scored 15 while first-year Kaitlyn Rogers finished with 13 as Frostburg lost 80-58 to Notre Dame, Saturday afternoon.

The Bobcats settle at 4-20 overall on the season and 3-15 in the MEC while the Falcons advance to 21-3 overall and 15-3 in the MEC.

FSU hung tough for much of the first quarter and led 2-0 in the opening few moments and then 4-2 three minutes into the game thanks to a couple of free throws and a layup from senior Sydney Stotler. Frostburg took a 6-4 lead after a layup from first-year Arianna Briggs-Hall at 5:29. A minute later, a layup from Rogers and two free throws from Briggs-Hall gave the Bobcats a 10-7 lead with 4:14 left in the first quarter. Notre Dame went on a 13-0 run to end the quarter with a 20-10 lead.

The Falcons jumped out to a 29-10 lead off a 9-0 scoring run to start the second quarter. Junior Grace Butera nailed a jumper in the closing seconds of the first half to cut Notre Dame's lead to 43-22.

In the later stages of the third quarter, Frostburg went on a 19-6 scoring to cut the Falcon lead to 57-46 with 1:23 left to play in the quarter thanks to a layup and jumper from Emory, a three pointer and layup from Rogers, two layups from Briggs-Hall, and two layups as well as two free throws from first-year Ciara Thomas. NDC controlled most of the fourth quarter taking the win 80-58.

Emory finished with 15 points including one three pointer and five rebounds while Rogers contributed 13 points, three assists, and two steals. Briggs-Hall earned nine points and six rebounds while Stotler finished with four points and eight rebounds.

Adachi led the Falcons with 20 points while Marone earned 15 points on the afternoon.
