FROSTBURG, Md. - On Friday night, the Bobcats lost to the Urbana Blue Knights in a three set match. FSU fall to 6-4 overall while UU advance to 4-5.

Frostburg picked up their fourth loss on the season after being defeated by scores of 18-25, 16-25, and 12-25.

FSU hit -.023 against Urbana with 21 kills in the match. The Bobcats also collected three service aces and 42 digs as a team. First-year Jackie Sterenberg collected eight kills while senior Biamba Tshitenge recorded seven. First-year Edwyna Lainez earned 19 assists and 12 digs.

The Blue Knights jumped out to a 3-1 lead in the beginning of the first set. The Bobcats would answer with a 6-1 run fueled by two kills from Tshitenge and one from Sterenberg. Urbana went on to take back the lead with a 9-2 run making the score 16-11. The Blue Knights went on to take the first set with an FSU attacking error.

The beginning of the second set went back and forth until an Urbana 6-0 run put them up 11-8. A 10-2 run at the end of the set earned the Blue Knights the second set win.

A 6-3 run by the Bobcats in the beginning of the third set gave them a lead by two. Urbana answered with a 7-0 run taking back the lead 12-7. The Blue Knights would close out the set with a 12-1 run to win the match 3-0
