BUCKHANNON, W.Va. – The Frostburg State men's soccer team finished its season on the road, falling 6-0 to West Virginia Wesleyan.
Frostburg State surrendered five goals in the first 45 minutes of play, including a pair to Nika Monaselidze. The game's sixth and final goal came three minutes into the second half, before the battle of the Bobcats stalled for the rest of play.
Frostburg was outshot 17-3, including 12-1 in the first half. It also surrendered seven fouls compared to West Virginia Wesleyan's three. The three shots were tallied by first-years Fabian Valenzuela and Louie Kerdock, along with junior Logan Imbraguglio.
First-year goalkeeper Colby Nelson got his first collegiate start and played all 90 minutes in net. He made six saves on 12 shots faced.
Frostburg State concludes the season at 6-11-1 overall, with a 5-10-1 record in its first year in the Mountain East Conference.
