FROSTBURG, Md. – The Frostburg State women's soccer team took down Salisbury, 1-0, Saturday and moved into second place in the CAC standings in the process.

The Bobcats have been red hot as of late as they have won four-straight games, including the last three coming via shutout.
The shutout of rival Salisbury improved Frostburg's overall record to 7-7-2, while their 6-1-1 league record moved them into sole possession of second place.
SU slipped to 8-9 overall and 6-2 in the CAC. The loss dropped the Gulls to third place, just a half game behind Frostburg.
The Bobcats have just one game left at Southern Virginia on Wednesday and if Frostburg finishes in second place in the standings it will earn a first-round bye in the tournament.
Sophomore Brooke Shehade scored just 3:37 into the second half to seal the win for the Bobcats. Salisbury's keeper was out of place and Shehade took a pass from junior Danielle Ferris and scored for the fourth-straight league game.
The reigning CAC Offensive Player of the Week has totaled six goals in the last four games and has been a big part of FSU's four-game winning surge.
Despite the loss, Salisbury outshot Frostburg 13-8, including an 11-3 edge in the second half.
Frostburg junior Emily Faust notched four saves in the game and collected her fourth-straight win. The Bobcat defense was credited with a team save in the 88
th minute when they cleared a shot away from the backline.
SU keeper Hope Knussman registered three saves and allowed the game's only goal in the loss.
