Box Score

With the tie, the Bobcats move to 5-1-2 on the year while the Mustangs slip to 2-3-3.

The Mustangs struck first in non-conference action as Jamie Matlock squared the ball off in the box off a pass from Kellen Wittman and shot it past the Bobcat keeper, Katie Smith, for her third goal of the year at 15:55.

Frostburg had two scoring chances in the final five minutes of the first half but could not convert as a shot from Kourtney McLain inside the box was saved by the Mustang goalie and Jessi Martz' shot went wide left. Stevenson held the 1-0 cushion into half time.

Stevenson outshot the Bobcats 4-1 over the first 13:25 of the second half but it was Frostburg that converted to tie the game at 1-1. After Stevenson tried to clear the ball out from in front of its goal, Chelsie McCoy took control of the ball and shot it past the Mustang keeper from seven yards at to tie the game with just over 30 minutes to play in regulation.

Neither team got off another clean shot until Stephanie Fazenbaker's shot from the close right wing hit the cross bar with 5:17 to play in regulation as the last real scoring chance in the first 90 minutes of action.
In the first overtime period, each team got off just one shot though the Mustangs were able to put their shot on net, Smith picked up a crucial save in the 95th minute to keep the game tied at one.

Frostburg got off two shots to Stevenson's one in the final overtime period but neither team was able to convert and the clock hit zero after 110:00 with the score at its final of 1-1.
