LATROBE, Pa. – The Frostburg State men’s cross country team finished fourth place while the women captured ninth place at the Saint Vincent College Invitational, Saturday.

Senior Patrick Mead posted the highest finish for either team as he crossed the finished line in 16
th place in 28:51. Freshman Brandon Redmond was the second finisher on the men’s team as he took 32
nd place at 30:06.
Sophomores Daniil Repchenko and Jeremy Brown were the Bobcat’s third and fourth place finishers in 42
nd and 43
rd place. Repchenko crossed the line at 30:46 as Brown completed his race at 30:47.
Freshman Jeffrey Frost rounded out the top-five finishers for the men as he crossed the line at 31:27, good for 50
th place.
Freshman Casey Columbus led the way for the women’s team as she finished at 26
th place with a time of 21:44. Junior Bryn Allston crossed the line next for the women at 52
nd at 23:05.
Another pair of freshmen finished at 66
th and 86
th place. Lexi Foreman was the women’s third finisher at a time of 23:52 while Margaret McConnell completed her race in 26:10.
Freshman Danielle Green capped the five finishers as she crossed the line at 28:41, good for 99
th place.
Both teams return to action next weekend, September 28
th, at the Dickinson College Long Short Invitational at Big Spring High School in Newville, Pa. The women begin at 10:30 am while the men start at 11:15 am.
