SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Senior Christian Smith and sophomore Devin Francillon each posted top-10 finishes to represent the Frostburg Sate men’s track & field team at the 2013 Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Outdoor Championships, Thursday and Friday.

In the final meet of his collegiate career, Smith posted a personal best in the shot put. Seeded last heading into the event, Smith finished ninth of 31 participants with a toss of 14.76 meters (48ft. 5.25in.).

Francillon finished fourth of 15 participants in the two-day decathlon. He climbed seven places and into the top-five after holding 11th place after day one. Francillon set personal records in seven of the 10 events on his way to All-ECAC honors. He took fourth with a total of 5,871 points.
