FROSTBURG, Md. – The Frostburg State women’s tennis team posted a 7-2 win over York (Pa.), Sunday, behind five singles wins and two doubles victories.
Megan Martin, Megan Crowl and Amber Beckman all posted two wins on the day.
Martin won No. 1 singles with a 6-1, 6-0 win over Dea Vlahos, while Crowl rallied for a 3-6, 6-1, 6-4 win at No. 2 singles over Megan McCullin. Together, Martin and Crowl picked up a win at No. 1 doubles, 8-3, over Vlahos and McCullin.
Beckman won No. 3 singles with a 6-2, 6-3 defeat of Nikki Olson. She teamed with Nicole Absher for an 8-6 win at No. 2 doubles.
FSU returns to action tomorrow at Penn State Harrisburg at 3:00 pm.
