FROSTBURG, Md. – The Frostburg State volleyball team suffered a 3-0 setback to Mary Washington in a Capital Athletic Conference matchup, Wednesday.
The Bobcats (3-20, 0-2 CAC) hung tough in the first set before the Eagles (10-6, 2-0) pulled away for a 25-21 win. UMW posted 16 kills in the second game for a 25-10 win and the visitors hit .219 in the third set for a 25-17 victory.
Sophomore Caityln Collins posted a double-double with 11 assists and 10 digs, while senior April Wolfe finished with five kills and six digs. Junior Morgan Hoover led the Bobcats with six kills and posted four blocks.
FSU returns to action this Saturday with a tri-match at Christopher Newport.
